At Madison Homebuilders, we have over 25 home floor plans to choose from and numerous customizations to help create the home you and your family have always wanted. Amongst our floor plans, the Sycamore is one of our customer’s favorites and one of our most popular floor plans. Let’s learn a little more about this floor plan top pick!
Ranch Style Floor Plan
The Sycamore is a ranch-style home so the living and bedroom spaces are on one floor. The Sycamore floor plan is almost 1,600 square feet and has a front covered porch that creates nice curb appeal and a great space for your family to relax outdoors to enjoy the warm weather and changing seasons in North or South Carolina. One-story floor plans, like the Sycamore, have many benefits; learn more about the benefits of a ranch-style home here.
3 Bedroom 2 Bath Home
The Sycamore is a three bedroom split floor plan with two full bathrooms. This means the master is on the opposite end of the house ensuring the utmost privacy for the owners. Each bedroom is spacious including a larger master bedroom with a master bath. The hall bath is located in between the other two bedrooms. With a sizable double vanity in the master bath, you and your significant other each have your own space when getting ready for work in the morning or washing up at night. The master bedroom also features two closets, including a nice walk-in closet. The two other bedrooms in the Sycamore floor plan are roomy and great for the kiddos or to turn into an office. One bedroom could also serve as a playroom if the kids share a bedroom now.
Sycamore Floor Plan Layout and Options
The Sycamore floor plan greets you with the front porch. You then walk into an open family room. The dining room sits right off of the kitchen with windows to the back, providing natural light into the eating area. The Sycamore kitchen is equipped with a double sink, stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, and a lovely spacious walk-in pantry closet, perfect for storing everything nicely from a big grocery store trip plus food and treats for your furry friend. This floor plan also offers an alternative kitchen if you don’t want the high countertop that looks over the family room. The Sycamore also comes with a laundry room, yes an actual room with a door so you don’t have to air out your dirty laundry(literally!) when guests are over. The Sycamore has the option of a garage if you want the extra storage space. The family room space also has the option of a fireplace at the focal point of the room; adding character and warmth to the shared family space.
