Madison Homebuilders makes it easy to pick your floor plan, features, and even your price range. Our Back to Basic Model series streamlines this process even further. With each selection, you will find yourself in a beautiful new home featuring everything you need to start a comfortable family life. These homes are also built quickly, making them an essential asset in the rapid effort to meet the nation’s housing needs.

When Madison Homebuilders looked at the short housing marketing and the current economic trends, we realized that homebuyers today need more than just the bells and whistles. They also need the option to take it back to the basics. So that’s exactly what we did. This season, the Madison team is introducing a new line of Back to Basics home floor plans that will help homebuyers build on a modest budget, creating highly affordable options for new home construction. These homes may seem modular, but are built on site so you still receive the benefits of building with us, just at a lower price!

Back to Basics Homes

Madison Homebuilders is proud to present our new Back to Basics home floor plans. This series features our most efficient and cost-effective designs, allowing home buyers to secure comfortable 3-4 bedroom homes as quickly and affordably as possible, along with built-in avenues for financing. The Back to Basics line has everything you need.

We have streamlined both production and pricing by offering these models without design modification and with just a few upgrade options to keep things simple. The cozy designs speak for themselves and will look charming on any suburban street or rural plot of land.

Now, let’s take a closer look at each of our three new floor plans.

The Greer Floor Plan: 3 Beds, 2 Baths

  • One Story
  • 3 Bedrooms
  • 2 Bathrooms
  • 1,483 sq ft
  • Open Plan
  • L-Shaped Kitchen

The Greer’s 1,483 sq ft floor plan is the first of the three Back to Basics models. After years of experience with families and homebuyers, we realized that a basic family home in the modern world should be built with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. This allows enough flexibility for multiple children, multiple generations, guests, and/or a home office in the space.

The Greer begins with a small front porch that opens into a spacious great room and informal dining room. In one corner is a classic open L-shaped kitchen with an island that also serves as the breakfast bar. Home chefs will love the open plan and entertainer kitchen possibilities.

The great room leads to a hallway of bedrooms. The owner’s suite faces the quiet back garden while auxiliary bedrooms for guests or children are across the hall.

The Parker Floor Plan: 3 Beds, 2 Baths

  • One Story Ranch
  • 3 Bedrooms
  • 2 Bathrooms
  • 1,272 sq ft
  • Open Plan
  • Parallel Kitchen

The Parker is a lovely 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom ranch-style home with one story and a charming 1,272 sq ft split style floor plan. Entering the front door, you will find yourself in the great room. At the far end of the welcoming family space is the informal dining room and a parallel kitchen.

On one side of the great room, you will find a short privacy hallway that leads to the other two bedrooms and their shared bathroom. On the opposite side of the home, the great room leads to the spacious owner’s suite with a walk-in closet and bath. This floor plan optimizes privacy between the bedrooms.

The Hudson Floor Plan: 2 Stories, 4 Beds, 2.5 Baths

  • Two Story
  • 4 Bedrooms
  • 2.5 Bathrooms
  • 1,952 sq ft
  • Open Plan Downstairs
  • L-Shaped Kitchen
  • Garage

The Hudson is our two-story Back to Basics house plan, offering a far more spacious living area and a built-in garage downstairs. The second story features four bedrooms and two bathrooms, with an extra powder room at the foot of the stairs. As you may have guessed, the Hudson was designed to accommodate a larger family and the needs of a busy lifestyle.

From the front door, the Hudson opens into a vast great room and an L-shaped open plan kitchen with a breakfast bar, similar to the Greer. However, instead of bedrooms, the great room leads to a doubled-back flight of stairs or the door to your 2-car garage.

The second-story landing opens directly to all four bedrooms and the laundry room. The owner’s suite is particularly spacious, featuring a walk-in closet and a two-basin sink for optimal morning routines.
